With this certificate in Multimedia Design, students will acquire a fundamental understanding of visual language, design thinking, and industry-standard software for content creation for use across various media platforms. Through hands-on projects and real-world applications, students will explore key areas such as animation, sound design, video editing, motion graphics, visual effects, photography, and web design.

  • Critique and communicate design decisions for various multimedia formats using proper terminology and professional language. 
  • Apply design thinking and problem solving skills to create innovative solutions for design challenges by incorporating critical feedback. 
  • Develop a portfolio and/or professional reel that highlights proficiency in multimedia creation for various audiences.

The Certificate of Achievement requirements include completion of the certificate courses with a “C” or better grade in each course. Required and support courses may be substituted with the approval of the Industry & Technology Division Chair.
